We were actually thinking that perhaps our first meeting should be in a more open space, like, say, the Edinburgh Gardens. The good Admiral and I would be happy to cater, with a gold-coin donation taken to cover all club-related costs.

It’s going to be 34 degrees on Saturday, and I shall be chained to my desk preparing for my return to studies on Monday. Also, we don’t have a picnic table, or any cucumber sandwiches. This MAY require a little more time for planning. I may perhaps have jumped the gun a bit in suggesting this fortnight.
