Patti Smith, Commandeur dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, has released a new album; a collection of twelve covers, including songs by Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Nirvana and The Beatles. Patti remains a magnificent artist and I dearly hope she visits Colonial Capital MELBOURNE; to paraphrase coveree Bob Dylan, I’d stand in line to see her sing anything.
