Complements of the Season, or, Hey Ladiez!

Penned upon the 30th of December, 2006

As anyone who knows me will tell you, when summer is icumen in, I’m always out looking for a Provincial’s Companion. This summer, I’ve been treating myself with dear Lord Breaulove Swells Whimsy‘s Affected Provincial’s Companion, Volume One. A keen lifelong naturalist as well as a clotheshorse par excellence, Whimsy shares my love for our Great Green Earth and all that is beautiful and fascinating that walks, flits or swims upon it, and his Companion is required reading for anyone with a passing interest in environmentalism as well as anyone with a passing interest in dapperness. I can also confirm that it’s available here in the Colonies, and at a price that’s a pittance for its quality and design!
