FrillyShirt Tea Shirts!

Penned upon the 30th of January, 2007

I disapprove of this duck, and shall not be feeding it any of my sandwich in the yard.Everyone likes a nice, comfy tea shirt to wear under their house-coat or dressing-gown: perhaps while nibbling biscuit crumbs off the sheets in the afternoon, or when receiving guests one enjoys but does not paticularly respect (a harlequin, the Prime Minister.) Almost as popular as wearing tea shirts is wearing tea shirts with amusing, mentally stimulating drawings on the front. No longer, though, does one have to personally commission the staff of Punch, or lay down next to the street and pretend to be bluestone in the hope of a shortsighted cockney pavement artist passing by and plying his trade, in order to wear such a garment. No, now one can order a terrific and reasonably-priced FrillyShirt tea shirt! These are available in a range of colours and all sizes, from Willowy Gothic Countess to Tory MP, for Ladies and Gents alike!

I simply MUST have Cockfoster aquire every single one of those delightful t-shirts on my behalf. Although perhaps a fund-raising tea-party will be necessary before I can afford it.. What would be a good theme? I can’t use “extortion”, that was last months’..
