Of postmodernity I am critically loving – postmodernity, we’re gonna be BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!! but you really should work on being less shallow and cynical. Postmodernism is like a radical political party – the good ideas it had when it was up-and-coming get mushed up a bit when it gets in power.

Of modernity I am lovingly critical – if you are also lovingly critical of modernity, I recommend The Weekly!

The majority of the comments I receive when wearing a hat (my day-hat is typically a casual pork-pie) are along the lines of “Where can I get one”, from all genders and age-groups. Imitation may or may not be the sincerest form of flattery, but seeing hattage spread is worth the effort on its own.

Incidentally, at present all my hats come from City Hatters, Melbourne, under the clocks.
